Red Velvet snuck in as the final artist lineup just before Platinum/Combo tickets for KCON 2015 in Los Angeles were released this morning! We’re super excited for what’s in store for KCON LA and they haven’t even touched on the convention portion for this year’s 3 day event. Los Angeles – June 18, 2015 – The box office for KCON 2015 USA presented by Toyota (www.kconusa.com) opens for purchase today Thursday, June 18. Premium and Combo tickets for the Los Angeles portion of the convention and concert will be available first. All other tickets, including those for the KCON 2015 New York go on sale next week. June 18 (10am PT // 1pm ET) – KCON 2014 LA Platinum and Combo tickets go on-sale.
June 22 (10am PT // 1pm ET) – Los Angeles Individual Tickets go on-sale
June 25 (10am PT // 1pm ET) – All tickets for New York go on-sale
Newcomer girl group Red Velvet caps off a massive Los Angeles line-up for KCON 2015. More acts will be revealed for the New York portion of the concert and convention before tickets go on-sale for the east coast leg next week. Red Velvet made their debut last year with hit singles “Happiness” and “Be Natural.” Their new single “Ice Cream Cake” topped out at #2 on the Billboard World Album Charts. Red Velvet joins a concert line-up for KCON 2015 LA at the Staples Center, which includes the following:
o Saturday, August 1: Super Junior, Sistar, Got7, Roy Kim, MONSTA X
o Sunday, August 2: Shinhwa, Block B, AOA, Red Velvet, Zion . T & Crush
Last year, over 43,000 passionate fans of Korean pop culture traveled from around the U.S. to solidify KCON as a summer Los Angeles staple. Once again droves of K-entertainment fans will come together to experience unforgettable concerts, panels, workshops, food, fashion and much more. Now with sister events on both sides of the country for the first time, this year’s KCON is on track to be the largest ever. KCON 2015 Los Angeles takes place over three days – July 31– August 2taking over Downtown Los Angeles’ Staples Center and Convention Center. Additionally, KCON 2015 New York will be a one day convention and concert held in the metro area at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ on August 8.
