KCON 2014 To Feature Double The Music

Did you catch the 7th #KCONLiveChat? You didn’t?? No worries! In case you missed it, we’ve got you covered. KCON 2014 made some HUGE announcements today that surely every KCON goer will be excited about. M Countdown Live will not only be returning for KCON 2014 but they’ll be hosting TWO concert nights.

They also revealed some pre-KCON events in the works including a CGV Slumber Party the night before KCON when attendees can stay up all night bonding with fellow fans over K-dramas and Korean food. Another reveal was KCON Quests run by CJ Ent where CA Residents can collect stamps at places such as Bibigo and Tous Les Jour to win special prizes such as a Red Carpet Pass for KCON 2014! More details to be revealed in the weeks leading up to KCON 2014!

M COUNTDOWN Returns to Los Angeles to Curate the
Massive Lineup with Artist Announcements to Begin Next Week

LOS ANGELES, CA – May 16, 2014 – After last year’s two-day sold out success, KCON will return to Los Angeles this August as the biggest annual fan celebration of Korean entertainment and culture. This year’s celebration will increase number of marquee acts for two massive concerts over two days. For a second year in a row, the concerts again will be produced by #1 K-pop chart show, M COUNTDOWN, which is known for drawing the biggest names in Korean pop music.  Artist announcements will begin rolling out next week.

KCON 2014, a two-day event, will be packed with activities aimed at giving attendees the unique access that only KCON can offer. Before each night caps off with a star-studded concert extravaganza, fans will be able to fill their days with artist meet-and-greets, photo ops, celebrity panels, contests, fan workshops and gaming competitions. Everyone from the super-fan of Hallyu to those ready to be initiated into the global Korean Wave movement, will get lost in an experience unlike any other in the country. KCON is set to take place on August 9 and 10 in Downtown Los Angeles, California.
